Yesterday was another one of Faded & Blurred’s monthly photo walks. This time was quite the trek. We went down to Seaport Village in San Diego for their annual Busker Festival. A busker is a street performer and they brought in professionals to perform different acts, from sword swallowing to knife throwing to pogo stick tricks and juggling on unicycles. It wasn’t as big as I had hoped it would be… not nearly as many acts and more juggling and magic than anything else. I do love San Diego though and it was an absolutely gorgeous day so it was still well worth the drive.

And what could be better than a real honest-to-goodness kite-eating tree???

Spent Easter Sunday with my family… the girls actually decided to dress up… at least for pictures.

My mom is very proud of her grandkids.

I think the best part of the meal is the game the two youngest make us play. They write sentences on the back of our name cards that we have to somehow incorporate into the conversation without anyone noticing. Mine was… “There’s a bunny in my shoe.” Uh huh. Nobody would ever notice me saying that. There was definitely a lot of laughing going on.

It took a few days, but we finally got the prints from our disposable camera walk in Hollywood. Although it was fun, I will certainly not win any awards with these. I think I need to try a real film camera now… just to see what kind of control I can get.

I brought these into Lightroom and just ran a ’70′s action on them called Muskrat Love because it seemed to fit.

Tip the world over on its side and everything loose will land in Los Angeles.
