This has been a very long and busy week, but I wanted to get a few photos up from Utah. It was such a good trip. I couldn’t believe it had been two years since I had been there. I am determined now that I have a reliable car to get out there more often.

The first morning I got up early to get photos of the sun coming up over the hills. I love sunrises in Utah.

We drove about an hour north to visit my sister and her two boys. They are growing up so fast, but they are still so cute.

They had a blast playing with their two favorite cousins.

Sunrises at my sister’s are pretty gorgeous too.

I got the chance to go shoot the punk rock band, Death Punch, again, but live in concert this time. They performed at a great place in Pasadena called The Terrace. They didn’t go on until about 10:30 and this was after my drive home from Utah earlier. It was definitely worth it though. They are a very talented group of guys. It will be fun to see where they go.

I will put up my photos from Utah in the next couple of days. I took over 400 so it is going to take me awhile to go through them!

I’m leaving for Utah tomorrow morning with my daughter and niece to visit family I haven’t seen in way too long. I don’t know if I’ll be able to post while I’m gone so I thought I’d share a sunset shot I got last night.

Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.
