I spent last Sunday at my parents for our annual Thanksgiving dinner. We’ve always done it the Sunday before or the Sunday after to avoid the conflicts of in-laws. It’s always very casual, but usually very fun. We had the typical turkey dinner and stuffed ourselves silly. This time we ended up playing Apples 2 Apples for awhile between dinner and dessert. Always a good idea to let your meal settle in a bit before stuffing yourself yet again.

I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving surrounded by people who love you.

Faded & Blurred held their fifth photowalk last weekend and I think it was my favorite one yet. We met at Union Station (a lot of us took the train in) and walked from there. The weather was great… a few clouds, but the sun was there and it never got too cold. These walks are great and if you’ve never been on one you really should check it out. Doesn’t even have to be with F&B… do one in your own neighborhood!

Our ideals resemble the stars, which illuminate the night. No one will ever be able to touch them. But the men who, like the sailors on the ocean, take them for guides, will undoubtedly reach their goal.
