4th of July

Photos

Yesterday was a great day. We made plans to go to Long Beach for the afternoon and possibly see the fireworks over the harbor. Rather than driving all the way in we drove most of it and then took the train. After seeing all the people down there we realized how smart that was.

We ended up just walking everywhere.

It did end up getting pretty warm at one point. :)

The ocean was beautiful though.

There definitely some characters down there. I couldn’t resist asking if I could get a photo of this guy. I’ve never seen an iguana with such bright colors before.

We ended up thoroughly exhausted before the sun went down and ended up driving home and watching the shows from the freeway.  We stopped at some little hole-in-the-wall taco stand which was SO yummy and happened to catch these fireworks being set off. Kind of funny since there are signs everywhere saying fireworks are illegal and these were being set off on a major street. This last shot was actually taken by @jefferysaddoris since I don’t do hand-held shots in the dark very well. He got a new camera and was enjoying trying it out all day.

StumbleUpon It!
