November

Jubilee

I love the month of November. The weather has cooled off, the light in the sky has changed from a garish, filtered smog color to a beautiful, rich, clear blue. It makes the color of the leaves that are changing look that much more vibrant. It’s a time when the holidays have not yet arrived so there is still that anticipation of friends and family and food and fun. The days are shorter and I just want to spend time baking or reading snuggled up on the couch, not sitting in front of the computer. Those days don’t come often, but I try to savor every moment when they do.

The Dream

Mint Julep

How beautifully leaves grow old.  How full of light and color are their last days.

  • I feel like I’m in the middle of a forest with this sequence of photos. I love the light in them…… almost under the sea feeling….
