Colors in Winter

Jan 9, 2011     3 Comments    Posted in: Blog

It’s winter in most areas of the world and yet here there are still beautiful leaves all around. I had to stop the other day and pick some up before they disappear. I took them out to an empty lot and hung them out like laundry. I loved the way the light went through them.

Why should we live with such hurry and waste of life? We are determined to be starved before we are hungry.
~ Henry David Thoreau

  • Gorgeous colors! My landscape today was shades of gray and brown (but now it is covered with white ice).

  • I love how the light shines through them… it’s like natural x-ray… very pretty!

  • Stunning light!
