Cucamonga Cakery

Jeffery and I have been going around to local businesses the last couple of weeks just to introduce ourselves to the neighborhood. We walked into the Cucamonga Cakery and met the nicest people. We talked to them for quite some time after finding out that one of them has the same last name as Jeffery. Very strange. The owners invited us back on a day when they would be doing more decorating so we could take some pictures so, of course, we took them up on it. I am fascinated with the art of cake decorating, especially these days when it is more than just frost it and put some fake flowers on top. The detail that goes into cakes today is incredible and the work they do here is gorgeous. I need to go back soon and get some shots of the finished product!

A great empire, like a great cake, is most easily diminished at the edges.
