It was a long weekend of moving and getting unpacked, but we are almost done. I hate moving. The endless boxes, the forgetting of where you put things, needing to ask people to help for the most thankless job ever… there isn’t much good about it. Until you actually are done. Thankfully, we are done.

And, so, here I am, sitting in my new place, looking out the window at the green trees and stream (albeit man-made) while typing. It has been a long time since I have felt at home somewhere. I didn’t realize it until I got here and felt like I could walk in the door and just breathe. This is it though. I am relaxed, I am happy, I am home.

Home is a name, a word, it is a strong one; stronger than magician ever spoke, or spirit ever answered to, in the strongest conjuration.
