The Busker Festival

Apr 11, 2010     1 Comment     Posted in: Blog, News

Yesterday was another one of Faded & Blurred’s monthly photo walks. This time was quite the trek. We went down to Seaport Village in San Diego for their annual Busker Festival. A busker is a street performer and they brought in professionals to perform different acts, from sword swallowing to knife throwing to pogo stick tricks and juggling on unicycles. It wasn’t as big as I had hoped it would be… not nearly as many acts and more juggling and magic than anything else. I do love San Diego though and it was an absolutely gorgeous day so it was still well worth the drive.

And what could be better than a real honest-to-goodness kite-eating tree???

  • Fun images Nikki!! LOVE that “kite cartoon” and matching pic! Oh so true! One of Ian’s favorite things to do was to fly his kite at Grandma’s when he was little and when it got stuck – oh the trauma!!! Looks like a super fun and colorful festival! Our day was good. WINDY! and cold – challenging in lots of ways – but overall good. I feel like a train ran me over still. I hope to go through Alice’s stuff today :) Saw you thinking on “Canon vs Nikon.” It’s all about thinking isn’t it? never ends!!! ha!! good luck there!!! deb
