Dia de los Muertos Hollywood

Oct 29, 2009     No Comments    Posted in: Blog

Last weekend was very busy. I spent Saturday night at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery for their celebration of Dia de los Muertos. For those of you that don’t know, Dia de los Muertos is a holiday celebrated by Latin Americans to honor the dead. They will build private altars and bring favorite foods and beverages of the deceased to the gravesites. They have a huge celebration every year at the cemetery and a few friends and I decided to attend.

For death is no more than a turning of us over from time to eternity.
~ William Penn
