Venice Photowalk

Aug 31, 2009     2 Comments    Posted in: Blog

So Faded & Blurred had its first official photowalk this past Saturday. We weren’t sure how many people to expect.. 5? 25? 50? To our surprise about 70 people showed up. We all met at Muscle Beach and took off on our separate ways from there. Some of us stuck together while others went off on their own. We went up and down the boardwalk shooting anything and everything.

After the boardwalk we headed over to the canals. It is such a beautiful area. Although I could never imagine living in Venice, living by the canals is completely different. Everything is so quiet and peaceful.

We will have a lot more walks coming up so keep checking Faded & Blurred for information. And, even if you don’t live in California, check out the site… a lot of great resources for photographers… plus a lot of great people.

  • Hey Nikki! I haven’t checked in for awhile and wanted to say how much I love your photos from the Venice walk! I hope you’re doing well :) I’ve had a miserable flu :( but it’s all good. Ian has started school in Orange Co., so life is a little nutty!! I think of you always and hope you and yours are doing well! Keep up the inspiring work!

    • Hey Deb… I’ve missed chatting with you! Loved your daughter’s blog, btw. You should check out http://www.fadedandblurred.com. It’s a group of photographers trying to get some sort of community together. We’re doing a lot of photowalks. Hope you start feeling better soon!
