End of School

The school year is over this week… no more sub jobs for me and no more 7th grade for B (hey! that rhymes!). I had to post a picture of what the students did every time I subbed in this particular class. At the end of the day they would all stay after to draw on the board. No matter what kind of a day it was they usually said the same thing… “Bye Mrs. Frantz”, “you’re my favorite sub”, “I want your camera”,  etc. Kind of a fun way to end the day – especially the hard days.

Subbing

And B had her end of the year awards assembly today. I was so proud of her. Not only did she get Principal’s Honor Roll all three trimesters, but she also was awarded “Bulldog of the Year” by one of her teachers – an award given to exceptional students by each of the 7th grade teachers. She worked so hard and it was a difficult year. We are both glad it’s over.

And my favorite summertime quote:

There’s never enough time to do all the nothing you want.
