Self Portraits

Self portraits are the hardest thing in the world for me. I don’t so much hate doing them. They are rather easy, in fact, because it is just me and the camera. Putting them up on the site is a whole different can of worms. The very thought of it usually makes me break out in hives. That being said, I got a new flash a couple of days ago. It is wonderful. I had no idea how much fun an off-camera flash could be. My biggest problem is lack of models. I am the one around all the time ready and willing and very patient. Patience is a big deal when you are taking a ton of shots to see which settings work and which ones don’t. So the past couple of days I have spent most of my time in front as well as behind the camera. This means the only real shots I have to post are ones of me. I did have fun… altho I think the most fun was the post-processing. Photoshop can be a wonderful thing at my age. :)
